Haliburton Cabin
PROJECT: CABIN RETREAT
SCOPE: SIGNATURE DESIGN & BRANDING
STEP INTO THIS COZY CABIN RETREAT NESTLED DEEP IN THE WOODS, AND EXHALE. YOU'VE ARRIVED.
This cozy little cabin was once a storage place for firewood, so it was only fitting that this became a feature of the interior with a wall being made to shelve the cut wood. Knotty pine walls were embraced, and softened with a complementary colour palette of muted greens and different shades of cream. Draping the space in layers of cozy textiles makes this the perfect spot to curl up in after a day spent outdoors.
The goal was to transform this former woodshed into a luxury cabin rental, while still keeping to its rustic roots. A dream project, I designed the interior along with the brand identity for the cabin in order to promote the space as a rental and create a cohesive experience for guests. The cabin's new brand identity was applied to marketing materials and various touch points in the cabin itself, like the welcome guide, a deck of playing cards, and postcards to send to friends and loved ones.
